A couple of days ago we all headed over to a resort in Hakuba to take part in a rail jam called Boxes for days, basically 6 different boxes all connected together. First person to ride the whole thing would win a snowboard so we all had a go to see if we could do it. Unfortunately i’m pretty rubbish on boxes so after a few attempts i resorted to taking pictures and spectating.
Gaz having a go on the monster box
One of the girls from the lodge Genelle pretty much hit the thing for the whole day and did amazingly well. She seemed to have no fear and even though she took a couple of harsh falls she carried on going and got the furthest out of most of us. Andy from Snow Season Japan also came along to have a go and was pulling off some cool one footers on the mini box.
In the end it turned out to be a little Japanese girl that managed to do the whole thing and won herself a brand new snowboard. Out of a good 5 hours it was only her and one other pro rider that managed to do it.

Overall it was a great day and everyone had a lot of fun and thankfully no serious injuries.
